Intro & Choices

Hi all who are reading. My name is Curtis Daniel Coburn. I am writing this blog because I feel I need something to do, and I have an interest in writing. Blogging is a great way to just express my ideas, and myself, and share them with the world. Though, I do know that blogging is not as popular as Youtube or anything, I much rather not talk. I am more of a quiet person. I would rather sit at my laptop and type out a lot than talk on a video, because when I am talking, I just feel different. You know? Like, it is just much easier for me to say what I want to say through text, and I know a lot of people are like that. So, please bear with me, I am not the best writer. I'm not writing this to make money, or for some editor. I write this for myself.

So, what I was planning for this blog, is just a way for me to talk. I am at a stand point in my life, where I don't know what I want to do with my life. My mind just keeps on changing, and I go through theses stages where I want one thing, and then a few months later, I want another. I can better elaborate on this.

I am very interested in technology. I LOVE computers. I am not totally sure what I love about them. There is just so much to say. Programming, manufacturing, building, web browsing, and some of the other things around computers, like social networking, advertising, ect. This all catches some interest in me.

I am highly interested in Google. I just had to choose blogger because Google owns it, and it is my first intention. If I were ever to work for Google, I would love to be in the education team, the Operating System team, or the advertising team. By the operating system team, I mean that Google really is making a big impact on technology. It is just a few steps away from them making a Operating System like, if not better than Windows some day. As of right now, they do have the Chrome Operating System, but those are only available on the Chromebook, and the only thing you can do with them is go on the internet. But it is time before Google makes a full Operating System, where other Software will use the Operating System just like Windows, Mac, and Linux. Just a bit of time...

However, earlier today, while I was watching someone build a computer, I questioned myself in making the choice with Google. Would I truly want to work them? Most of Google sounds like Programming, and as of right now, I have NO programming skills. So, I begin to question. But this was just recent, and I will make another post if I figure out what my next though is.

The other interest I have is joining the military. More specifically the United States Marine Corps. Marines is another thing I have a high interest in. Possibly going down this field will not be the best for me, because in every picture I see of the Marines, you see a bunch of huge dudes, is muscle shirts running, or lifting some heavy weights. This is not me, however, in some of the movies about the Marines I have seen about like "Jarhead" and "Full metal jacket" you don't really see the huge dudes. Just the common people, average people like me. Though I am not so average. I honestly don't do much outside my computer. Which is why I think going the technology might be better for me.
